All photographs entered into the
contest are displayed at only 600 pixels wide and at 72
dpi. We have also disabled the right-click feature of
most mice so that people cannot "save" the photograph to
their computers. (This is not perfect, but stops most
visitors from downloading photographs)
Weekly, monthly and yearly winning
photographs are edited for display as desktop
wallpapers respectively at 1024x768 and 800x600 at
72dpi. Even though these are normally many of the
best photographs displayed on the website and are
probably sought after by those wishing to find quality
photographs, the desktop wallpapers help us to promote
the various properties to potentially many more people

March, an email will be sent out to all monthly winners
inquiring as to their permission for us to display their
photographs as desktop wallpapers. This will not
have any bearing on the contest and whether or not a
photograph wins a weekly, monthly or yearly competition.
If anyone has any further ways in
which we may safeguard photographer's work, please
